As well as the mandatory training required by Ofsted, we have a comprehensive training programme for all staff. This is tailored to suit the individual in relation to their role within the nursery and the ages and stages of the children they are caring for.
We pride ourselves on going above and beyond with our training as the more knowledge the staff have the more, they become confident experts within their field. We ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained within 3 months of starting with us.
Last year with the help of our fantastic parents/carers we raised enough money through fund raising to provide each of our nurseries with their own Defibrillator. All staff our trained in how to use the defibrillator during their first aid training. Thes defibrillators have been registered with St Johns Ambulance Service for the community to use if ever needed, during the hours our settings our open.
