Yoga
Yoga is used to relax the children and calm their minds. The best times to practise yoga is in the morning and mid-afternoon this just helps to relax and keep the children calm. The children are encouraged to sit in a circle and practise there breathing first. The children will then go through around ten different yoga poses that all have different benefits. Whilst the children are doing yoga, we have relaxing meditation music playing in the background. The benefits are both for the mental and physical wellbeing of the children.
Some of the benefits from yoga are improving posture, strengthening muscle, relieving stress, stretching muscles and most of all calming the child’s mind.
