Bumbles is an outstanding nursery and if you are considering a placement then I would not hesitate to recommend this setting. It’s a wonderful team of girls that have taken care of our little boy since he was a baby. Ethan has attended since he was 10 months old and we chose to keep him in Bumbles rather than move him to pre-school as he was so settled there and the standard of care has been amazing. Ethan has suffered with some health issues as a toddler and the care and attention the girls shown was second to none and they always made me feel at ease, even when I would call them often. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and our little boy has flourished under their guidance through EYFS. The eyLog system they use is fantastic and helps keep a track of your little ones learning and development and always makes for fun conversation each night, we love seeing the photos of what he’s been up to during the day with his friends. Food is brilliant and offers a 4 week rota with fresh food made on site, they also cater really well for children with allergies and encourage the children to try new things and new textures. Meal times are made fun with the food trolley, as well as encouraging the older children to be independent by having a breakfast station where they can help themselves. The planned activities are brilliant too and the children enjoy everything from playing outside in the very secure garden to all the structured learning, baking, messy play etc.
The children love the annual Xmas concert and it’s lovely that they celebrate different cultural events like Chinese New Year, world book day etc.
Ethan is nearing the end of his time at Bumbles now to move to primary school but he has enjoyed almost 4 years here and grown into a happy, confident and clever little boy and we are so grateful to all of the staff there for taking the best care of our little boy. If you are thinking of sending your child here I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
